What is beta glucan?

Beta glucans are a group of natural polysaccharides composed of a series of simple glucose molecules. They are naturally found in a number of plants and (micro)organisms such as cereals (rye, barley), mushrooms (Shiitake, Lingzhi) and yeasts (baker’s yeast – Saccharomyces cerevisiae ). Each of the mentioned sources contains beta glucan as a structural element, but in a different chemical form.

Levovital Beta Glucan

Levovital Beta Glucan, which comes in the form of beta-D-(1,3)-(1,6)-glucan, is obtained by a natural technological process from baker’s yeast – Saccharomyces cerevisiae . The concentration of pure beta glucan in this product is a high 62.5%, or 312.5 mg in one capsule. The recommended daily dose of this product is 1 to 3 capsules per day, which would ultimately be 312.5 to 937.5 mg of beta glucan in the daily dose.

Using:

Take 1-3 capsules daily on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal.
